2011Where It All Began
Our story began in 2011, in Rome – the Eternal City, with the founding of our parent company, Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment (ILBE).

2018From Italy to Hollywood
Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi, co-founders and owners of Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment, produce movies and series of the highest quality for the international market. Some of their most famous productions include “The Poison Rose” starring John Travolta and Morgan Freeman, and “Waiting for the Barbarians” starring Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson.

2019ILBE & Animation
The first animated feature film produced by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi was the Netflix hit, “Arctic Dogs”, starring the voices of James Franco, Anjelica Huston, Heidi Klum, Jeremy Renner, John Cleese, Alec Baldwin, and other renowned Hollywood stars. ILBE acquired the intellectual property rights to the film’s characters with a few spin-offs in mind.

2020Arctic Friends
In September 2020, “Arctic Friends”, a short-format animated series was released, as the product of our co-founders’ fresh and innovative approach. Produced by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi, the series is a spin-off of “Arctic Dogs”, consisting of five-minute episodes.

Say hello toPuffins
The rising popularity of “Arctic Dogs” and “Arctic Friends” led to a new animated web series called “Puffins”. The series was made for kids and families around the world, starring one of the greatest Hollywood actors of all times: Johnny Depp. “Puffins” was produced by Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment, and a week after its release, it became the #1 watched show on Apple TV.

HIDDEN GEMS OFSerbia
Working on a movie together, Andrea Iervolino met Miloš Biković, the founder and owner of Archangel Digital Studios, a production company in Serbia. Miloš was the one who introduced Andrea to Serbia’s talent and hidden gems, which led him to make an excellent decision: to open an animation studio right here in Serbia.

June 2020ILBE Studios
Even though it was a tough year for the whole world, our co-founders would not be stopped. In June 2020, ILBE opened ILBE Studios (initially called Iervolino Studios) – a creative animation studio focused on creating short animated content. That’s us!

2020-2021Early Days
Our studio's branch in Novi Sad was officially opened on August 20 in 2020 with our first 30 employees. Since then, we have opened two branches, in Novi Sad and Belgrade, with a team of now more than 100 creative artists and talents who work hard as one to accomplish something which many could only dream of. The new chapter for animation in Serbia has begun.

2021Hollywood Quality / Made in Serbia
Our co-founders, Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi, kept their promise to bring Hollywood to Serbia. Having already worked on the “Puffins” series with them, Johnny Depp decided to reprise his role as “Johnny Puff” in the first animated series created in our studio, and not to mention, the first animated series to be fully created and produced in Serbia. Visiting Serbia to promote the series, Johnny Depp officially opened our branch in Belgrade in October 2021.

INTRODUCINGPuffins Impossible
Let us introduce you to: Puffins Impossible! A 'Puffins' spin-off which originated in Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment. The series was created in ILBE Studios and produced by our friends and strategic partners, Archangel Digital Studios. Two years after our studio’s founding, we have achieved much to be proud of. Over 100 artists in ILBE Studios, together with directors, composers and sound designers from Archangel Digital Studios, with Peter Nalli as the series' showrunner, worked hard to create the first 3 seasons (54 episodes) of this action-adventure family series for the young and young at heart.

2022New Name. Same Mission
Initially Iervolino Studios, we changed our name to ILBE Studios in December 2022 to integrate our brand more firmly into our parent company's portfolio and to strengthen our bond with our colleagues in Italy as well as our position in the global market. Our new brand image represents the next stage of development for ILBE Studios which will lead to more and more international projects for worldwide audiences to enjoy. On to the next chapter.

This isOnly the Beginning
What was once a dream for many artists in Serbia, has now become reality. Puffins Impossible started streaming in April 2022 on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Google Play, TaTaTu and Chili in more than 120 countries. What a way to mark our 2 successful years in Serbia. At ILBE Studios, as our puffins prove time and time again, nothing is impossible. And this is only the beginning.
