IES at the 79th Venice International Film Festival

The Venice International Film Festival hosted a presentation by the Italian-Serbian Film Festival.

During the 79th International Film Festival in Venice (Wed, Aug 31, 2022 – Sat, Sep 10, 2022), a presentation by the Italian-Serbian Film Festival was held to discuss opportunities, cooperation possibilities, financing and incentives between Italy and Serbia in the field of production, post-production, co-production and the distribution of films in Serbia.

Iervolino Studios was part of this presentation, as the perfect embodiment of good practices and relations that have been established between Italy and Serbia, and as the result of a successful cooperation between these two countries in the field of art, culture, and cinema.

Our dear friend Gabriella Carlucci, founder and director of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival, announced that this year’s festival in Belgrade will be held from October 25 to 29.

She was joined by other speakers at the presentation, including Anđelka Janković, Head of Marketing & Communications at IES, Rade Vojinović, advisor of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, Marcella Mitaritonna, an Italian filmmaker, and representatives of the Film Center Serbia institution.

Anđelka presented the accomplishments and results that have been achieved after just two years at Iervolino Studios and introduced the audience to the world-class productions and services that our studio has to offer.

"IES is the result of good practices and relations in the cooperation between Italy and Serbia"

The presentation was held in the Palazzo del Cinema, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Italy, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Italy, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, and the Film Center Serbia institution.

About the Italian-Serbian Film Festival in Belgrade

The festival promotes young Italian and Serbian talents and is a meeting place for authors, producers, actors and leading distributors. It represents a unique opportunity for the audience to enjoy contemporary works of Italian and Serbian cinema, as well as for professionals in the film sector to learn about available funding opportunities.
