October 2022

Opening of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival in Belgrade

This year's Italian-Serbian Film Festival will be held from October 25 to 28 at the Yugoslav Cinematheque in Belgrade.

The 2022 edition of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival will be held from October 25 to 28 at the Yugoslav Cinematheque (National Film Archive of Serbia) in Belgrade. The festival was established with the desire to strengthen the partnership and collaboration between Italy and Serbia, and to further a cultural, artistic and cinematographic exchange between the two European countries.

The Italian-Serbian Film Festival is a truly unique opportunity for its audience to enjoy contemporary works of Italian and Serbian cinematography, as well as a chance for professionals from our sector to be presented with different funding opportunities in both countries, since the largest Italian, Serbian and Balkan distributors and producers are going to participate in the event.

The festival is organized by the Excellence International cultural association with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture, the Italian Embassy in Belgrade and the Italian Cultural Center in Belgrade. Gabriella Carlucci is the founder and director of the festival.

This year’s edition of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival in Belgrade brings us something new and exciting – the festival will officially open with the Serbian premiere of the movie “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend”, produced by Lambo film LLC and Notorious Pictures in cooperation with Prime Video, while our parent company, Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment (ILBE), serve as the movie’s executive producers. Part of the visual effects (VFX) for the movie was done at Iervolino Studios, under the supervision of Peter Nalli, Head of Animation and VFX at ILBE.

The movie will be in theaters across Serbia starting December 8, distributed by Blitz Film.
