The Italian-Serbian Film Festival in Belgrade will host the “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend” premiere.
The 7th edition of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival in Belgrade, organized by Gabriella Carlucci, will open with the Serbian premiere of the movie “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend”, produced by Lambo film LLC and Notorious Pictures in cooperation with Prime Video. Our parent company, Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment (ILBE), led by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi, serve as the movie’s executive producers. The two Italian filmmakers and producers will attend the premiere at the Yugoslav Film Archive in Belgrade today at 7 p.m.
To mark the opening of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival, a press conference was held at the Italian Embassy where both Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi addressed the audience, as co-founders of ILBE Group and IES.
“We are very happy and proud of the fact that the movie “Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend” will open this year’s edition of the Italian-Serbian Film Festival, just a few days after its world premiere in Rome. This film is extremely important to me because it is an ideal example of cooperation between the Italian and Serbian creative industries, which this festival has been promoting from day one. Part of the visual effects (VFX) for the film was done at Iervolino Studios, under the supervision of Peter Nalli, Head of Animation & VFX at ILBE, and I believe that this is only the first in a series of similar collaborations that we will have in the future,” said Andrea Iervolino.
The annual film festival, which promotes contemporary works of Italian and Serbian cinematography and offers an opportunity for meetings and exchanges between experts in the film industry, is organized by the cultural association Excellence International in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade, the Italian Institute for Culture in Belgrade, the Yugoslav Film Archive, the Experimental Film Centre in Rome (Centro sperimentale di cinematografia), and Iervolino Studios, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Italy and the Luce Cinecittà Institute.
Lady Monica Bacardi emphasized that the festival is an ideal opportunity to make new contacts, make deals and make plans for future film projects. After all, Iervolino Studios was partly created thanks to contacts among people who firmly believed in Serbia, in its exceptional talents and creative potential.
“First of all, I want to thank our dear friend Gabriella Carlucci, who initiated this very important and influential cultural event, where the audience has the opportunity to premiere great films made in Italy and Serbia, as well as some co-productions of these two countries. This festival is also an ideal opportunity to make new contacts, make deals and make plans for future film projects. After all, Iervolino Studios in Serbia was partly created thanks to similar acquaintances and recommendations of people who firmly believed that Serbia has exceptional creative talents and potential”, said Lady Bacardi.
