Italian producer Andrea Iervolino, director and founder of the production company Iervolino Entertainment and the animated content production company Iervolino Studios in Serbia, reached the prestigious annual list of Variety magazine, dedicated to the most influential people from the world of media and entertainment. Called him the Entrepreneurial Miracle, Variety ranks Andrea among the 500 most significant business leaders that shape the global media and entertainment industry.
“I am flattered by this recognition, which came at a very important moment for our company, a moment of great rise. After going public last summer and several successful achievements, such as film Waiting for the Barbarians, which is currently in the process of applying for the prestigious Oscar award, Iervolino Entertainment has invested significant resources in the production of short animated formats that break daily ratings on digital platforms around the world“, said Andrea Iervolino.
However, this is not the first time that the British Variety paid attention to Iervolino - back in 2015, he declared him an "entrepreneur to pay attention to", at a time when Andrea was only 29 years old. Having made his first film at the age of only 15, Iervolino has produced more than 80 films, making him one of the most active and productive film producers in the world. His production company Iervolino Entertainment was founded in 2011, and in 2018 he launched TaTaTu - a multi-recognized entertainment platform based on blockchain technology, which rewards users for watching and sharing content.
Among Andrea's most successful films are “Waiting for the Barbarians”, “The Poison Rose”, “Finding Steve McQueen”, the animated film the “Arctic Dogs”, and the short animated series “Puffins” and “Arctic Friends”.
This year, Andrea Iervolino founded the company Iervolino Studios in Serbia for the production of animated content for streaming platforms intended for global distribution, which currently operates in two locations - in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
